Being in business for yourself can be a very rewarding but challenging fete. That’s why we are extending a special invitation to you and yours to join us as we launch our first annual Business Banquet, Men & Women in Business slated to promptly start at 6:30pm on April 08, 2017 at Chateau Margarita, 1A Unity Hall, St. James, Jamaica. Our keynote speaker will be Mr. Courtney Campbell, President and CEO for Victoria Mutual Building Society (VMBS).
An accomplished and dynamic banking executive with over two decades of strategic leadership experience and a strong track record in business growth and improving general business performance.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Campbell has held several senior executive positions, including Chief Executive Officer – First Global Bank and Chief Executive Officer – GraceKennedy Financial Group, Grace Kennedy’s financial services holding company with operations in banking, stock broking, insurance and money services across 12 Caribbean territories. Prior to joining the GraceKennedy Financial Group, he spent over 23 years with the National Commercial Bank, where he served in several managerial positions, including Head of the Retail Banking Division.
He holds a BSc in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies, and an MBA in Finance (Distinction) jointly awarded by the University of Wales & Manchester Business School. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, London.
Mr. Campbell is the former Chairman of the National Education Trust (NET), Chairman of the United Church Mission Enterprise, as well as a Justice of the Peace (JP). He previously served as a director of GraceKennedy Limited and was on a number of its subsidiaries’ boards. Courtney is married to Pauline and they have two sons.

Promptly at 6:30pm we will entertain you with tastefully selected live music performances while you whet your appetite with a selection of succulent chicken wings, mouth-watering ‘Stomp & Goes’, and assorted fruits and cheese topped with crackers and perfectly aged wines.
At 7pm, our buffet will be opened with our chef’s signature soup of the day served with your choice of tender sirloin steak, pork chops, or succulent shrimp served with baked baby potatoes, slowly cooked gourmet rice (Basmati), black beans, and pasta.
Dessert will be a choice between moist cheese cake and pickin’ pie and your after-dinner drink will be a choice of Blue Mountain coffee or herb teas.
Each ticket will cost J$5,000 (Inclusive of GCT) per person. Payment may be made using one of the following options:
– Company and Personal Cheques (Cheques must be deposited and cleared within 5 business days before the event) – Please write all cheques out to Chateau Margarita.
– Cash/transfer – National Commercial Bank (NCB), Lucea (Branch), Account Number 751043198. You may make lodgments to this account at any NCB branch island wide.
In the unfortunate event that you may decide to cancel your reservation, 50% of the ticket’s cost will be deducted if cancellation is done on or before 7 days prior to the even. Please note, tickets are non-transferrable. This is an invitation only event.
